My ferret, Komay, has the same symptoms. I was wondering what made youthink=
it was an enlarged spleen? Her belly has also gotten huge. She=92sgone fro=
m weighing about 1.2 lbs to 1.9 lbs. When I took her to thelocal vet, he sa=
id it feels like there may be a tumor in her intestines.She is due to have =
X rays tomorrow. He gave me some Metronidazole forover the weekend, thinkin=
g that may be it will reduce any inflammation.However, she absolutely does =
not like the medicine and spits it up andright now she looks like she is go=
ing to be sick. Does anyone have anyidea if it is an enlarged spleen? If so=
, what do we do about it andwhere can I go to get more information about en=
larged spleens inferrets? If it isn=92t an enlarged spleen does anyone have=
any idea ofwhat it can be? My ferrets=92 real vet is about an hour away an=
d because Idon=92t drive I have to go to the next best vet here who has a l=
ittleexperience dealing with ferrets.
