My vet suggested a product that she uses on herself. (sensitive skin) I now
use it on myself. I don't often bathe my ferrets, but about every six months
my Parris just needs one to look her fluffy best. The product is Cetaphil
gentle skin cleanser. A google search will bring up the ingredients. When
I've used it on a ferret, it cleans well, rinses easiley, leaves the fur
soft, and best of all, no smell. I like ferrets to smell like ferrets, and
so do they. Another important concideration, it doesn't burn the eyes any
more than plain water. I know, I tested that on myself before using it on my
ferret. Only draw back, it's a bit pricey. I watch for it to be on sale. A
little goes a long way.
