Yes, Revolution is safe for ferrets, but, do not give it to them while they
are sick. Or anything similar. It's always a good idea to ask for blood work,
etc., but if it's a virus-it will just have to run it's coarse. One thing to
watch with the benadryl is that it can dry them out causing a dry cough. I
honestly do not give that except for in the case of allergies or pretreats for
immunizations and have never heard of a vet dosing with it for anything
else, but hey...I'm not vet either. If they do not show improvement with treating
symptomatically-or if your gut tells you something else-yes I would get the
blood work. It's ALWAYS best to go with your gut! You are the parent and know
best.
