Insulinomas only very rarely metastasize, so can't be all that readily considered to be malignant or "cancers", and I suspect that if what has been going on in the pancreas was lymphoma you'd have been most likely to have seen more signs of it before now.

There may be fat in the axilla, or there may be an infection causing that node to go up, but do show it to your vet (as you plan to) and do watch it to be safest, because not everything that happens in life is likely to happen. Depending on how it is on examination your vet may want to excise it for pathology, or to do an aspirate.
