Will my ferret is going to 11 years old here in 2 months. He has never have and adrenal problems or any illness but he has from brith been on a nature diet. Your ferret should not need a heat lamp give her some soft blankets if she get cold she can curl up in them and get warm. Nutui-Cal has a high level of sugar witch would be bad for an older ferret. Have you tried making her some duck soup to fatten her up a bit. Some older ferrets from all the sugars in their diet even if you feed ferret or kitten food they also have lots of sugars in them and it causes the ferrets teeth to get cavities and it makes it hard for a ferret to chew its food. You may want to soften the dry food with warm water or add some can cat food to the dry. The important thing is to keep thing the same old ferrets do not like chances in their daily routine. I do not know what most people thing here but my ferret has never been vaccinated I keep him at home and away from other animals. Feel free to e-mail me off
group if you want to talk more about aging in ferrets.
