Carol, have Zeek assessed BY HIS VET. The meters used at home can be relied on for direction for ferret blood, but NOT necessarily relied on for actual numbers. Depending on what is found on a vet's machine the vet may discuss options like changes in dosing, changes in timing, or adding Diazoxide, or some combo of those things.
