Subject: Bailey is having seizures

Last night I noticed Bailey was having trouble walking. He was walking in circles and falling over. Then I noticed he was spacing out which I assume is a seizure (I had another ferret with Insulinoma). Again this morning he was doing the same thing. I gave him some Karo syrup on his gums but it didn't seem to do much. How much should I be giving him? I don't want to give him too much at a time. Is there anything else I can do for him when he is like that?

I realize these are symptoms of Insulinoma and I have an appointment scheduled with the vet tomorrow. He just had surgery two months ago to remove his left adrenal gland and the vet checked his pancreas but didn't see anything unusual at the time. Besides surgery, is Prednisone the only other treatment for Insulinoma? My ferret Greta had that and, once she was diagnosed, she went downhill pretty quickly. How long can a ferret live comfortably once diagnosed?

Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions...
