Subject: Teddy - fever, bloody stools, vomiting, mucous, stayed at the vets

Teddy is staying at the vet's for right now. It was definitely bloody stools. There appears to be some type of very hard granules in his stools. He's also running a fever. She put him on IV liquids and antibiotics. They are going to look at fresh stools and I don't know what else. I was afraid to bring him home last night for very obvious reasons. I won't know anything until about mid-afternon. I think we're stuck diagnostically without doing an exploratory. Does anyone have a clue here? Anything would be useful...
