I want to thank you all for the prompt responses.

I have continued to do a lot of independant research online, from books such as "Ferrets for Dummies", and talked to people who's ferrets have had "rat tail". What I've done is email my vet with my problem to see if he wants me to bring her in to his office. From the majority of what I've heard, a little bit of fur loss starting from the bottom of the tail and moving up is usually not adrenal disease, especially since it's the beginning of summer, and the time a lot of ferret's shed. I'm just going to play it safe and see what the vet says.

Cocoa's going to be getting her operation for her tail chordoma within the next two months, so that's one problem down, now let's hope that Precious' tail will go back to normal without any other problems...(and of course, that Cocoa won't have any complications with her tail amputation).

Thanks again everybody!! Much appreciated!!
