Hi Clover,
I live in ABQ but take my ferret to Dr. Jerry Murray, in Dallas, TX, if anything serious is going on. We've seen several vets over the years and Dr. Murray is the first one that my ferret liked right away. He knows his stuff and goes out of his way to help.
There is a vet in Glendale (a bit closer than PHX), Dr. Wayne Svoboda, but we have never been to him.
