Yes, that was the problem. The vet said they couldn't tell whether it was "just" glaucoma, glaucoma plus a "secondary" glaucoma, or some tumor all the way behind the eyes, like on the brain. As soon as I get a little more money, I'll try to find someone who can do an ultrasound on the eyes.
About the cough: she hasn't had chest x-rays because they wanted to see whether antibiotics would help first. They didn't help at all for about 5 days and I was about to give up, but the wet cough is finally better. She's much more comfortable now, and I'm thrilled about that.
