Hi, everyone,
I am reasonably certain that Chin Soon (age two) has
adrenal disease. When she goes back to North Carolina
in two weeks she's going to the vet and I expect she
will have surgery.
I have or have had 14 ferrets in the past eight years.
Chin Soon is the tenth to have adrenal.
Ages of onset:
7 or over - 1
6 - 1
3 - 2
2 - 2
1 - 2
less than 1 yr. old - 1
Unknown (rescued with adrenal) - 1
Does this seem like a high rate to anyone? Does this
seem like a lot of early onset to anyone?
I can't claim added knowledge has helped. Our first
two ferrets (Tenchi and Adric) never had adrenal
disease.
