Hello,
My ferret Cocoa and on and off diarrehea starting in about April of this year. I noticed a loss in weight and since he was due for teeth cleaning I had blood pulled. Nothing unremarkable except sligh anemia. Now he has had constant diarrhea since begining of May. He's been through Amox, Clavamox, Biaxin (he had some tar in his stools at one time in June). He is anorexic due to malabsorption of food. His stools range from water (mostly) to occasional seedy to green to stools with what looks like coffee grounds in it. They also stink to high heavens. He won't eat regular food or chicken gravy. He is maintaining on Carnivore care four times a day and subq's at least once per day.
We are at a loss as to what is causing this. Our last hope is to go in and inspect for intestinal lymphoma but is there anything else we could be missing?
Also since mid June he has had quite the sneezing fits going on. All day long. Benedryl seems to help that but I can't help but think somehow it's related seeing as how its constant.
Thanks in advance
Leanne
