Hi Caitlyn. I have had very good luck treating "rat tail" with
Revolution. A cat sized tube applied every two weeks for three doses
then return to the normal once a month dose. The black heads pop up so
you can wash the tail with a soft brush and get nearly all of them
except the ones where the skin has closed over the black head. Now, if
they are adrenal they will continue to lose hair, but I think that a lot
of the black heads are caused by some kind of organism that gets down in
the pores.
