Nevermind :)

I was thinking about this post, and it was not that the ingredients were
different, just that not recommended
due to the problem when used on cats.

Here are the ingredients of Advantix, same as in the UK?
K9 Advantix® is a once-a-month topical flea, tick, and mosquito treatment
for dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age and older. It contains imidacloprid
and permethrin.

I dont' see ticks being a major problem for ferrets kept indoors, and
frontline seems to take care of them as well as fleas if you need an
alternative that has a good track record with ferrets.
