Hi, I was just wondering what could be going on here. I have 3 ferrets. Gus came to me from a home that didn't take care of him at all. Ever since I got him, he's had this cough. Now the vet said that it could just be hair stuck and to give him some hairball removal. I tried that. It didn't stop. Now the coughing isn't excessive, but it does sound like there's something in his throat that he's trying to get out. BUT, I just got a young ferret not long ago, and introduced the two. Now, the younger one has this cough as well. Is there anything that this could be caused by? Gus has been on various antibiotics for other things that have happened, and those didn't stop the coughing.

If you have information regarding this problem, please reply.

Thanks for your help.

Anna, Wish, Gus and Oskar.
