I have found giving meds thru a feeding syringe,rather than directing the syringe opening
toward the mouth if you go in thru the side,its safer.
So if a glob gets stuck causing you to push harder it will spray out the other side of its mouth rather than down its throat...
And if its a really weak baby it might not be able to cough it out.
