My Shanara has multiple health problems and was given less than a month to live by 3 different vets. That was over a year ago and she has led a happy life. Her problem now is dehydration, diarrhea (not green), lethargy and no interest in eating. We recently got a new ferret bringing our total to 13 and I know that newbies can sometimes send older, frail ferrets into a tailspin. I am injecting her with fluids, she is on Albon and her regular pred meds. She is also on Revolution. She got a dose of it 2 days before she became ill, but has been on it regularly. My questions are: What more can I do to help her get well? Why are her gums red (no tooth problems), bottom of her feet red, and around her eyes red also? I thought those symptoms were allergy related yet the only thing it could be would be the Revolution. It distresses me to see her so ill because she had such a horrible life before I got her. Every day with her is a gift. Thanks for any help. Nancy
