My Boo Boo is over 5lbs, so yeah, he's definitely a chubbers. The worst
part about his being fat is that we have wood floors, and he doesn't like
the litter pan at all. When he goes potty his legs slide out and his belly
ends up in pee, to the point where I have to pick him up immediately and
clean his entire tummy, with pee dripping off him the entire time. I
believe he's slimming down now and getting more exercise, and I believe the
slimming down is due to the increased activity. I personally don't like the
idea of making him stop eating when he's still hungry, though my vet
disagrees with this. I prefer to encourage him to play, run, etc. more.
It's not always easy, but I think it's a far better way to help him lose
weight that decreasing the amount of food he eats.

Boo Boo's on chicken gravy, and I'm assuming your fuzzies are on kibble? If
you're concerned about their weight and they seem otherwise healthy, then
maybe just find things for them to do that will get them moving more.
