Beisdes using safe scents to get Telemna active despite her bad eyesight, we have found that textures can stimulate her a lot, esp. when they are also noisy, so now she plays with her rose scented toy but some of the time that she chases it she is running over bubblewrap, having her claws explode the bubbles under her, or jumping in a stack of plastic bags to try to catch the mousie toy, or... (She especially loves the bubble wrap laid out on the floor. Suddenly there isn't carpet under her feet and what is there is padded and then going "Pop, pop, pop" and deflating under her feet.) The other ferrets are more active with her now that she is regaining confidence bit by bit, too.
