Our vet recommended brushing our ferret's teeth with
CET, an enzymatic toothpaste. Further, she said you
could give them a little in their mouth even if you
could not successfully brush them, because the enzyme
action would at least help a little to destroy
bacteria. It is poultry flavored and apparently does
not taste too bad for ferrets.
I know we're not suppose to mention brand names, but
this is what we were told. I would guess there are
lots and lots of other such items out there you can
use that does them same thing.
