I wanted to add my $0.02 to this discussion as we were just going through a=
ll of this at this time last year.
If you search the FHL archives you will see posts about my ferret Fritz, wh=
o went from a lean 2.5 lbs in January 04 to over 4 lbs by this time last ye=
ar. He had adrenal surgery, became diabetic, and eventually died in early S=
eptember due to liver cancer.
We don't know what caused his unusual weight gain, but please make sure you=
and your vet examine all options.
