I am surprised at your doctor not recommending teeth cleaning. My doctor ha=
s had to clean three of my ferrets' teeth over the years. Usually once they=
hit five or six even the most dedicated kibble eaters need a good cleaning=
. I also had a ferret who suffered from early malnutrition before I got him=
and over the years he lost two teeth. One got wedged into his other teeth =
and was removed, the other, the doctor pulled. I will be taking Taz up for=
his cleaning on next Tuesday and I am very nervous about the risk of the a=
nesthetic but I saw his gums and agreed that he had to be uncomfortable. I =
noticed he'd been chewing awkwardly. It really makes a difference in their =
general health and comfort.
