Subject: How Should Digoxin Be Tapered?

Does anyone know how Digoxin should be tapered? One of my ferret's vets thinks some of her problems are being caused by too much but doesn't know how it is supposed to be tapered. She has been taking a daily dose of 0.07ML (0.125MG/ML suspension) and that was lowered to 0.05ML today.
Serum was sent today so hopefully the drug level will be back tomorrow. She is very sick right now and I am very worried.
