Thanks to everyone who's commented on ketamine vs gas! But now I wonder,
and hope you guys can give me a guess: is it more common for vets to use
ketamine over gas? I'm wondering now because I think after all I've read
that if our vet insists on using ketamine then we will find another who will
use the gas for the procedure. I guess I'm wondering how easy it'll be to
find a ferret-savvy vet who won't use ketamine? For one procedure, I think
we could probably travel an hour or so if we can plan it in advance.

This stuff just really scares me.
