Thanks to all of you that responded to my questions about my sick ferret Shanara. She is better and has rejoined her group. She is not 100% yet but close to normal considering her frail condition and is once again enjoying life, especially her nightly massages. As I said before, every day with her is a gift.
I have enjoyed reading the informative debate about feeding, although I would never feed live, pre-killed or raw foods. Since all of my 13 ferrets had previous homes I use a mixture of several top ferret dry foods with my personal favorite being Wysong. Right now my new ferret is resisting giving up the cat food that she ate in her previous home so I am slowly changing the ratio of cat food/ferret kibble mix.
