Kay, can you get an ECG done on her to see exactly what rhythm is
happening? I did have one, Cricket, with a very slow heart rate. I
found her one morning limp as a dishrag, in shock, cold, and after
looking her over for a second determined that her heart rate was very,
very slow at around 40-50 bpm. I high tailed it to our vet, afraid
she would not survive the trip, but she did. They did an ECG and
found out she was in third degree heart block, which is usually fatal.
Anyway, to make a very long story short, she was started on a drug
called theophylline and after a few scary days, she had a normal ECG. =
