maybe. As for dosage size, he probably got 100 mcg
(micrograms) which many vets consider a good starting dose.

My ferret Seti got his first one-month Lupron depot a little
over two weeks ago, and we saw a difference in his behavior in
four or five days--he was perkier and happier to play, and
just generally looked brighter. Two weeks later when we had
another vet visit, the vet confirmed that his bladder, which
had been previously painfully distended and wouldn't express
on palpitation, was back to normal. By the time of that vet
visit his weight had gone up a little as well. I thought his
coat felt nicer as well, but that's a pretty subjective thing
to judge. So how quickly the Lupron takes effect might vary
from ferret to ferret. Seti's adrenal symptoms are fairly
mild at this point, if that makes a difference--coarsening
coat, hesitation in urinating, weight loss, but no patches of
hair loss, his prostate was tender but not yet swollen, and
ultrasound showed his right adrenal at the outer end of the
normal size range.
