When my ferret was almost totally blocked from a prostate cyst, we got the
Lupron 4 month depot injection. He was able to pee on his own in about 28
hours, and in 36 hours his bladder was down to near normal size. There is
nothing more beautiful than an old ferret with a bad heart squatting in the
middle of the floor and peeing buckets. My vet said, if it works on a
ferret, it works well and fairly soon. We were one of the lucky, and very
grateful ones. That was early June, in July a US showed the cyst was gone.
We repeat the Lupron in Oct.
