I became mom to two hobs in May. Both in season. The three year old was neutered 7/18 and at that time had a Creatinine of 1.1 and Bun 42. On 8/23 he had a recheck Creatinine 2.2 and Bun 65.
He drinks drains a 20oz cup of water every day. I understand that is not a good symptom. I was told to get an ultrasound which will be done. Are there any other measures that should be taken.

Also on 8/23 the six year old hob was neutered and at that time had a Creatinine 1.5 and Bun 42. He will be rechecked in a month.

Maybe wishful thinking, but since they both have high creatinine levels, could their being in season be a factor here.

Been poking around in the archives and with the high bun should I brace myself for having to loose both of them so soon.

I would appreciate a professioinal opinion as our ferret expert vet has moved to another state.

Thank you,
