I noticed last night that my ferret Lilly kept licking the top front of
her mouth. When I took a look, right behind her front teeth on the roof
was a red bump. Unfortunatly her vet is out of the office until next
Wednesday :( Has anyone ever seen this before? It's not oozy or
anything or even an open sore. Is there such a thing as fever blisters
with ferrets? Should I leave it alone and see if it goes away by itself?
Also, she's been sick with a virus for about a week. She has clavomax
(liquid antibiotic) but keeps throwing it up right after I give it to
her. Any ideas about how to get her to keep it down? I tried giving her
food before giving it to her, but once the medicine is done her throat,
everything comes back up almost immediatly. It can't work if it won't
stay down.
