I would go immediately to the vet that knows ferrets.
I've had ferrets come back from the very edge of
death. I almost gave up on our Tiki - literally at the
edge (totally lethargic) - but tried harder, got
another opinion, and kept her us with us nearly two
more years.
Nothing beats a ferret-savvy vet!
