We are just starting the Autumn shed here -- not enough to find fur around but enough that they are all beginning to feel a bit itchy and jumpy. So, we have begun our routine. Personally, Steve and I are not big on giving a lot of laxative. Instead, starting at the very first signs of shedding we begin using a flea comb once or twice a day. It's truly great for removing loose fur. If you don't have one I'd like to recommend adding one to your ferret supplies. They are inexpensive and last for many years.
