It sounds like you are saying that in comparison to other ferrets he tires easily. How active is he when he is active?
You probably should, in addition to the other advice in this discussion, get him a vet exam. Things to consider doing if your vet feels that these may be warranted: A CBC with chemistry panel to check multiple factors including blood sugar, and a chest x-ray to check his heart. As you know it may be just him, or just his level of stamina as he builds up, or he may respond more to the heat than others, but when in doubt have your vet check it out.
