I don't know much about coccidia personally, but I've learned a little to know that it can keep reoccuring if not properly treated w/the right medication. Also, I've heard that the items that the ferret(s) usually come in contact with need to rigorously cleaned (bedding, litter boxes, hammocks, blankets, etc) to help avoid a reoccurance of coccidia. As I said, mine have never had this problem, so I don't know much. But, I hope this helps. As far as the duck soup, if your ferret is willing to accept the duck soup, I'd say bump him up a little more. Good luck =)
