Our 7 month old - ferret - named Diesel - has been to the vet twice with an eye irritation - we first were given Gentamicin sulfate ophthalmic solution - after finishing the bottle of drops (1 drop four times a day) - they cleared up briefly and then they were red and sore again - the next solution we were giving is Gentocin sterile ophthalmic solution - were almost finished this bottle and his eyes are still not clearing up - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - I fear that he may lose his sight if we don't clear this up soon or worse they may suggest surgery next??
