I noticed this evening that Cujo seemed to have what appeared to be pee with pus in
it?
He is on amoxi and baytril, as well as being given sub q fluids every 12 hrs. I am
also handfeeding him baby food recipe every 5 to 6 hrs. He is scheduled to see the
vet tomorrow.
I am baffled by this. He was sick about two months ago, vomiting occasionally, but
mostly lethargic and refusing to eat, as well as grinding his teeth. He recuperated
from that in about two weeks but we thought it was mostly due to there being 2
kittens in the house being bottle fed, and his getting stressed over it. This time it
started with loose stools and lethargy, along with not wanting to eat. He seems to
kind of go "up and down" , one minute doing better, then the next, digressing. This
evening I took him outside as something "fun" to take his mind off all the poking
and prodding and he seemed to love it. Then when I brought him back inside he
peed the nasty looking pee. I gave him carafate and waited about 25 minutes and
fed him recipe. Now he is sleeping. Anyone out there have any ideas??
