There is also a lot of info in the archives on alternatives to syringe feeding that usually (but not always) work better, and certainly are safer, since they also are more pleasant than syringe feeding they can often get more food and fluid in.
Look for posts with terms like "finger feeding", or "dr. clown", or words like sing and towel.
Those and the discussions around them should help you.
