Nanny, you misunderstood a bit. I DOUBT the food had anything to do with the fur loss because most should be well balanced and have enough tryptophan, though if a lot of a supplement was also used that perhaps could cause a problem by interfering with amino acid balances. Extra tryptophan might help in fur regrowth, though.
