I had a 6 year old otherwise healthy ferret diagnosed with Lympho in
April. We opted for the Tufts protocol because it was claimed effective
yet rather gentle (in the grand scheme of chemo). He had never been on
pred before which increased his chances of a successful outcome we were
told. Initially he did great, but then after 3 weeks he took an ugly
turn and I had to put him down at 4 weeks into the protocol. Just
because it didnt work for us, doesnt mean it doesnt work.
Some folks opt for holistic approaches (see attached link under essiac).
