An, we've had a few with ear mites, and would recommend you take them to the
vet and get treatment, but in the mean time, you can try cleaning their ears
to make them more comfortable. We have found that mineral oil works great if
their ears are real dirty, plus it allows debris to move into the area of the
ear that is more accessible, then you can follow that with a good ear
cleaner made just for ferrets.
