I have a baby ferret, Mr. Wiggles. He is only 3 1/2 months old. He is the new love of my life. I went to take him out of his cage tonight, and noticed that his stomache was full. I put him in his liter pan, and he won't go to the bathroom. It concerns me b/c he always goes when his stomache feels full and I put him in his box, b/c he knows that's his ticket out to play. He seems happy, and willing to play, but his back end is sluggish, and he's not quite as aggressive as he usually is. I am so worried. I cleaned his box, so I know for sure if he is going to the bathroom, but about two hours have gone by, and still he hasn't gone. I know he was going yesterday, and this morning when I took him out his belly felt like it's normal flexible self. So, is there anything I can try at home, to see if it helps, or should I just rush him to a vet? And what am I looking for otherwise. I'm so scared. I love him so much. Please help me.
