Is he eating and drinking?

If there is a full blockage then, yes, he will need to get to a vet rapidly. If not, laxative based on petroleum jelly may help.

Has he gotten a hold of any common causes of blockages such as rubber, latex, dried or hard veggie or fruit, plastic packing, etc?

If this continues then call your vet and see what the vet wants you to do at this point.

Realize that if there is a full blockage he may need emergency surgery to survive. If it comes to that then we can provide post-op care help here (such as no climbing -- even of ramps -- for at least 7 to 10 days).

Hopefully, by now he has had a bowel movement and will continue to do so. If so, put it into a plastic bag, smoosh it and look at a light through it to help you try to figure out if he ate something he should not.
