Hi

Hope you can understand my English !

I'm from Denmark, and im trying to help a freind there have a ferret there maybe have epilepsy, and i now that you guys in USA is alot more far ahead in ferret diseases than we are in Denmark.

She was in bath and her ferret was with her, and the ferret have been it before.
Yesterday her ferret got absolutly mad and was screaming and biting and throwing the head around for 5-6 min.

Her vet have told her that there only is 2 obtions for what can be wrong with her ferret, and that is either that the ferret have got scared for something or have had an epileptic fit, and she are going to follow her ferret for 1 year, and if her ferret get an epileptic fit in the next 6 month her ferret have epilepsy.

My question now is :

Is this right ??

Or can soebody give us an good advice and tell us how an epileptic fit look like on a ferret, and what she is going to look for.

Is it hereditary if she is bredding on her ferret ?

Thanks for all the help we can get.

Regards
Anitta
