While epilepsy or a neurological disease is possible, these symptoms in a ferret virtually always are due to insulinoma.
There had been a myth that European ferrets don't get insulinoma, but more and more WHEN ferrets with seizures, or glassy-eyed ferrets, or ferrets with pronounced lethargy have their blood sugar tested insulinoma shows up.
