Glad you had some good news!
I can answer your questions on Helicobacter
treatment and doses. Omeprazole's dose is
0.7 mg/kg once a day. Amoxicillin at 25-30 mg/kg
twice a day.
Carafate contains aluminum and in chronic renal failure
some of the aluminum may be absorbed from the stomach
and may not be eliminated by the kidneys. This is usually not
a problem in ferrets. Aluminum containing antacids should be
avoided for this same reason.
