Piggy, my year and a half yea old ferret has been sick for over 2 months. He
has the Waardensburg syndrome, but isn't deaf.

He started not eating, and acting lethargic and sleepy and not having great
poops, so we took him to the vet. She did a fecal float and found coccidia.
He took albon for two weeks, no improvements.

I took him back to the vet because he was vomiting too. he wasn't and still
isn't showing signs ofdiscomfort in his body when you feel around. She did a
barium and he didn't have a blockage, but he did have an inflammation in his
intestine. He went on amoxicillian and metronitizole and carafate for
helicobacter. I still had to force feed him.

He did not want his usual food (Marshalls), I bought him Sheppard and
Greene. Which he eats happily.

He has good days and then bad days. He went from three good days, where he
ate and acted like a ferret, to 2 bad, where he was vomiting and being
lethargic. Then he had 5 good days, 1 bad day, and today he is eating.

Poops are solid, well formed.

Whats going on with him?

The vet has no idea, so any suggestions will be very much appreciated!!!
