I'm not a vet, but that info is on Google. It is chloramphenicol
palmitate, a broad spectrum antibiotic. In humans it can be absorbed
thru the skin and cause aplastic anemia so wear the gloves and wash the
hands as directed. I don't think it is too new, the article I read was 3
years old.
