Subject: [ferrethealth] Helico or Lymph?
Hey guys
My little guy Nicky is at the vets, I am about to call to see if I can pick him up soon. He started acting different about two nights ago, I noticed he was a bit tried looking, didn't come out from under the bed like he usually does. I thought he was having a bad day. But that night he turned down his absolute favorite meal, chicken legs, and that's when I started to get panicky. He slept with me in the room that night, still extremely lethargic, grinding his teeth, no bowel movements. Drank a tiny bit, ever so slowly. He wasn't himself. Luckily we had a vet appointment that day. I fed him about a teaspoon of chicken babyfood with a little water and tone, after a few hours it perked him up a bit. The vet took an xray, what appeared to be a foreign body. He had surgery, no blockage to be found. Enlarged lymph node, though, took a biopsy and sent it off. He is eating now, but no bowel movements. They are treating him for helicobacter. After surgery he supposedly vomited digested blood. I was doing a little research. Could it possibly be juvenille lymphosarcoma? Thanks in advance for any input.
Krista
