Subject: [ferrethealth] Swollen eye

Little girl Sienna is having some eye problems. The original problem started after she and her sister got in a little tiff one night. Her eye was a little swollen and a little bloody where you could see the white of her eye. Took her to the doctor soon after that and he did x-ray. Found no cataracts or scratches. He gave us two ointments - one for swelling and one as an antibiotic. The swelling went down considerably but not totally. I've just kept an eye on it. Now it is starting all over again and I now I am in Chicago (I was in Jacksonville, Fla before). Any suggestions other than rush to the vet? The eye seems to have swollen a tad bit more. She acts fine, playing just like normal and doesn't scratch at her eye at all. Doesn't act like she's in pain at all.
